Your mission

In the role of support assistant, you will start from the residents' individual needs and wishes and provide support in daily life based on a pedagogical approach. Together with other employees, you will work towards making the day meaningful and rich in content. You will support and guide with personal care, meals, medication management, cleaning, community contacts, and communication. An important part of the job is to stimulate and motivate the resident to develop their abilities and create opportunities for an active and meaningful leisure time. Your tasks also include documenting and planning based on implementation plans.

About Nytida Stallbacken At Stallbacken Service Housing, you will be part of a group of about 7 employees with access to a team leader and nurse. The unit caters to adult women and men with neuropsychiatric or intellectual disabilities with psychiatric comorbidity and psychiatric diagnoses. The service housing is located in a newly built multi-family house and has 15 apartments, a common area, and an on-call apartment. Currently, we have sleeping on-call, day, evening shifts, and weekend duties. Our mission is to enhance the quality of life for our residents and provide care and security as well as joyful and meaningful days, and we are now looking for you to contribute your skills and experience to our team. A bus stop is located near the workplace.

Your experience and knowledge

You have at least a high school education in health and care or another equivalent education. It is an advantage if you have experience working with the target group. You have good computer skills and experience with documentation. Good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form is a requirement.
